After a rocky start to their 1951 season, they went on an 8-game winning streak and earned a playoff for the district title against a highly ranked Arizona squad, but A&M officials initially didnât want to send them. Apparently, some alumni hounded the university and helped pay the fare themselves, and the Aggies went on to win that series and earn their first trip to Omaha.
We had to dig into the archives to find this 1962 Aggies baseball logo, which we turned into a felt applique with an embroidered edge that pairs perfectly with this looser-fitting, heavyweight cotton crewneck sweatshirt.
